Aerial yoga combines traditional yoga poses with the use of a suspended fabric hammock, helping improve strength, flexibility, and balance.

What is aerial yoga?

No experience is necessary! Classes are beginner-friendly and designed to guide you step-by-step.

Do I need experience to try aerial yoga?

Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that covers your underarms and knees to avoid friction with the fabric.

What should I wear to class?

Yes, aerial yoga can be safe during the earlier trimesters if the student has prior practice, but we recommend sticking to foundational classes only. Beyond that, we advice consultation with your healthcare provider and our experienced instructors before joining to carefully consult case by case. 

Is aerial yoga safe during pregnancy?

Our instructors are equipped and experience to cater to most bodies and conditions however it depends on each student and their unique conditions. We prioritise safe practice and  encourage you to contact us beforehand or meet with an instructor early to discuss your needs and ensure your safety and comfort. 

Can I join classes if I have an injury?

Mostly never! At Inner Cocoon, we believe in and nurture all bodies, ages, and abilities. Our instructors are here to guide and support you at your own pace, helping you grow and thrive in your practice. We also provide students aged 7-12 teen classes yoga and aerial yoga classes. 

Am I too old/young/inflexible?
